Falling frogs

Falling Frogs is a project made in 2014. It consists of 15 canvases fixed to the wall and 3 painted objects. The starting point of Falling Frogs is the extinction of a species of toad the size of a child's thumb in the damp undergrowth of the Costa Rican jungle. This is the first documented animal extinction victim of global warming (circa 1980). Fallin' Frogs may also be the beginning of the fall... of humanity.

Materials : Masonite panels, canvas, oil and acrylic paint.
